Law of Attraction

Recent studies of the images of the brain have discovered something new. Something called "mirror neurons," which are neurons in the brain that trigger a mirror reaction in something that the brain is observing. This causes our brain, when we are observing someone or something, to mirror the neuron process that happens in the brain of the person we are observing (i.e. when someone crosses their arms after watching you cross your arms when they're listening to you) but it's more than just a physical response, in times where your body doesn't actually respond physically it still responds chemically, as if the body was preparing to move but doesn't. Similarly when we act, other peoples brains respond in the exact same way, making our actions and intentions change the impact we have on the world around us.
There's an idea that spiritualists have, called the Law of Attraction, stating that whatever you are putting out into the universe, energy, emotion, action, movement, is exactly what you are going to get back. Whenever you are putting good things into your space good things will come back, and vice versa with bad things. If you're putting the idea that work is going to suck out into the universe, then work is actually going to suck because you have now attracted that outcome to yourself. Its a concept that seems a little to easy. Being able to get whatever you want by simply putting it out into the universe, seems like a bit of a scam. but doubting the existence of this property simply enables this property to stop working for you.
While the study of mirror neurons is still relatively new there is a process by which people have studied the activation of emotions based on other peoples emotions. Scientists have found that when somebody's face reacts in anger, whoever is observing them also reacts in the same way. The observation of the angry face activates the amygdala, the portion of your brain dealing with your emotional reactions, causing your own brain to begin producing the reaction is would if you were angry yourself. They even modified the experiment so that the people they were studied were completely unaware that they were looking at angry faces, and the amygdala still produced the same mirrored reaction.
So if you choose to believe in the Law of Attraction, you're essentially giving yourself entire power over everything that you choose to. If you choose to not have power, you will attract people who will hold power over you. If you choose to be passive,  your life is going to flatline. This sounds a little too simple, that simple changing a mindset can change your physical environment, but what is your physical environment? The processed version of the world around you as seen by your own brain. You cannot look out through your eyes without your brain affecting everything your seeing by a process of combining what you believe think and feel and applying it to the light waves your eyes are taking in.
So why don't more people choose to take advantage of it? Even if the actuality of the situation is that it doesn't apply to everything in the world, why would you choose to not be able to control your own world, at least to some extent? Do you think people are scared? Scared of the things they will be able to accomplish if they do take control? How many more questions can I fit into this paragraph?
Benjamin Franklin said, an often misquoted statement, "Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty or safety." If you decide that you don't want that control, that you want somebody else to take your life in directions unknown, can you really learn anything? are you any better than a child who has to abide by all of moms rules? Children are naive, they have trouble with change and don't know how to deal with things in a positive way. Without the power that growing up gives them, they can't possibly reach outside of themselves because they don't even have themselves. Life is composed completely of our choices and the reaction the world has to those choices. If people are deciding to be passive, they can't claim any real inheritance over their life, almost like a coma, never growing never getting worse but that isn't life. Life is progress and change and movement, and if you decide to be passive about it is there really any difference between life and death at all?
Everybody on the earth has a multitude of choices laid out in front of them, and its a persons responsibility to them self to make choices. Not every choice is going to be a good one, or lead to good things, but every choice is a choice. It causes reverberations in the universe, ones that come back to you again and again and fill your soul with all the pieces of life you need. You owe it to yourself, to your heart, to your soul to take the power you've been given, push what you want out into the universe with all the energy you've got and you will receive what you need with just as much force. It's up to you to fill your life with all the things you deserve because only you can know what that means. No matter how much power your try and give away, you will always end up the god of your own universe, so you might as well do whatever you want.
